Lasco is pleased to announce the promotion of Lois Ellis from Executive Vice President to President effective October 1st.

Since joining Lasco last October, Ms. Ellis has served the company in leadership and business development roles while learning the business operations and getting familiar with Lasco’s clients and their needs. As President, Ms. Ellis will assume responsibility for all day-to-day functions of the company, reporting to CEO Dennis VanLandschoot and the Board of Directors. Ms. Ellis is on track to transition fully into the President/CEO position on January 1, 2017, when current CEO Mr. Dennis VanLandschoot will retire.

We are pleased to enter the next phase of the leadership succession plan and look forward to continuing the tradition of success into the future”, stated Rick Nebel, Chairman of the Lasco Board and President of Peoples State Bank.

Prior to joining Lasco, Ms. Ellis held the position of Business Development Manager for the Michigan Economic Development Corporation covering the Upper Peninsula on behalf of the statewide organization. She also previously served as the Vice President of Economic Development for the Lake Superior Community Partnership in Marquette County and was the staff lead for the Marquette County Economic Development Corporation.

Ms. Ellis currently serves as a board member for the Lakes States Bankers Association, is a Marquette County Ambassador and a member of the Economic Club of Marquette County.
